Queen, it's that time of the month! It's time to start our February #BestYouChallenge. But first, what is the Phorbe Monthly #BestYouChallenge?

What is the Phorbe #BestYouChallenge

The Phorbe Queendom has four pillars to success: Be Bold, Be Blessed, Be Beautiful and Be the Best You, you can be. Those pillars drive our blog posts and almost everything that we do in the Phorbe Queendom. That fourth B is all about learning and growing and doing the best we can every day to be the best version of ourselves.

One way we can reach the best version of ourselves is by creating healthy habits. If you want to live your best life, Queen, you've got to take care of yourself and choose habits that are going to supplement your growth and not stiffen it.

So to promote healthy habits, each month Phorbe takes 21 days to practice a new habit. The reason behind twenty-one days was because it used to be said that it takes 21 days to form a habit, since then, new science has proven that it takes more like 90 days. But for Phorbe we keep it at 21 days.


I usually announce the challenge in the first week of the month. The challenge usually begins on the 10th or 11th of the month. And each day of the 21 days, I post about my progress on the Phorbe Stories. When I first started doing this, I would give out prizes and giveaways for people who were following the challenge, but once I realized I was just buying gifts for the same person over and over again, I decided to wait until the Queendom grew a bit before doing the next giveaway.


However, I miss doing giveaways, so this month, we will end up having an actual giveaway!


What's this month's challenge you wonder?


February's Best You Challenge

As the TikTok Song Trend by Patricia Roberts says, this month, our goal is to drink water and lots of it. In fact, the challenge is to drink a gallon of water a day. Yes, 1 Gallon!!!


Why? Because being dehydrated is not cute, Queen. Plus there are so many health benefits to drinking plenty of water. I am not a nutritionist or health expert, so I definitely implore you to do your own research and/or talk to your doctor before embarking on this challenge. But for me, I endeavor to drink more water for the following benefits:

  1. It's good for your skin

  2. Hydrating your brain helps to aid in the fight against mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety

  3. It helps boost your mood

  4. It helps curb cravings

  5. Hydrated cells help improve your overall health

I can go on and on.


I already started the challenge last Thursday (when I was supposed to post this post) and I'm already seeing benefits. I can't wait for you to get going on this too. So, as an extra incentive, I'm going to be doing a giveaway for everyone who completes the challenge.

How to Enter the Challenge

The challenge will begin this Sunday, February 13, 2021, and run through March 5th. To enter the challenge, all you have to do is send me a DM on Instagram or TikTok saying "I'm in" on the day the challenge starts (2/13). Then every day of the challenge, you need to send me a photo of either your water or you drinking said water.

Any Queen who's sent me a different image of themselves every day of the 21-day challenge will be entered in a drawing to win 1 movie ticket and a $10 gift card for snacks for a movie self-care date night! Images must be sent through Instagram or TikTok.

As always, you can follow my journey with the challenge through our Instagram Stories. I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk as well. Plus, seeing me do it will be a great reminder of accountability for you and show you that it is possible.
